Alasdair graduated from Glasgow University in 2000. After spending 4 years down south, he made his way back to his Ayrshire roots and joined the practice in 2004.
In the 10 years he has been at the practice he has updated his skills continuously and has completed training in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, implantology and adult orthodontics. In 2013 he was awarded membership of the joint dental faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons, after passing part one and two of their entrance examinations in the same year.
When not busy with dentistry, Alasdair is kept very busy by his wife, young son and his badly behaved cats. On the rare occasions he is let out, Alasdair is a keen sailor and avid football fan.
As an Aberdeen season ticket holder he has had to endure the same sort of misery a visit to other dentists can inspire. He was therefore delighted to witness their first cup triumph, in nineteen years, earlier this year and is hoping for another victory sometime before he retires.
